About Lake County Housing Services Division

Section 8 Rental Voucher program is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. A rental subsidy is paid directly to the landlord by the housing agency on behalf of the participating family. The family then pays the difference between the actual rent charged by the landlord and the amount subsidized by the program.
